Interpol Nigeria strengthens cybersecurity with virtual assets training
The Nigerian International Criminal Police Organization, cybersecurity experts, and other members of the local intelligence community held a meeting to discuss how to deal with cybercrime in the country. It is reported that the event was held in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, and was organized by AD Forensics in collaboration with the Africa Stablecoin Consortium, aimed at helping the Nigerian International Criminal Police Organization understand how to reduce crimes involving virtual assets (especially stablecoins). According to blockchain expert Chioma Onyekelu, the training course aims to enhance the capabilities of international criminal police agents, enabling them to master the skills of using blockchain intelligence and analysis to track and prosecute network criminals involved in cryptocurrency transactions (especially using Bitcoin and stablecoins).
