The 14th richest person in the world comments on Bitcoin on social media

Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, recently promoted Bitcoin to Michael Dell, highlighting its positive characteristics.

This comes after an important social media update by the top PC maker's CEO Michael Dell, where he used the statement “Scarcity creates value", which intrigued Bitcoin the enthusiasts. This allegedly hinted at a fixed BTC supply limit and sparked curiosity among crypto-interested parties about Dell's opinion on the digital asset.

Michael Sailer's response to this tweet was that Bitcoin created such scarcity, which Dell shared with his followers on X.

Earlier, despite acknowledging the potential of Blockchain technology, Dell was skeptical of Bitcoin. Whether individuals like Saylor are capable of changing the way Dell perceives the leading cryptocurrency is hard to tell.

The comments didn't end there, with Del later posting an image of the Sesame Street Monster that was digitally altered (apparently by Saylor) to show the famous children's character gobbling up Bitcoin instead of cookies.

In 2014, Dell was among the pioneers in accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment. This made it the largest merchant at the time to accept the cryptocurrency. However, in 2017, due to weak demand, Dell suspended BTC transactions.

According to its critics, the mere existence of scarcity does not mean value – this is what experts like Peter Schiff argue, who insist that Bitcoin has no real value because it is not useful for anything.

However, such social media discussions by people like Michael Dell excite the crypto community and are indicative of how far Bitcoin has come.
