EOS has unveiled an update to its tokenics, highlighting several new features on its official website.
- High Profit Staking Rewards: Stake your tokens to earn greater returns through compounded annual percentage rate (APY), allowing profits to increase over time.
- Extended Blocking Period: The time frame for unlocking tokens has been extended from 4 to 21 days, which increases the stability and security of the ecosystem.
- Simplified participation: The previous voting requirements for electing 21 miners or proxies have been removed and a user-friendly interface has been introduced that makes staking a hassle-free process.
- Improved incentives for producers: Miners now receive additional fees generated by the network along with the block rewards, which provides additional incentives for growing demand on the network.
