SuperRare Co-creation: RARE tokens and protocol contracts will be launched on Base

SuperRare co-founder John Crain announced on X that the RARE token and protocol contract will soon be launched on Base. L2 is changing the game, with low-cost minting currently being the main use case for NFTs on L2. Crain expressed interest in utilizing L1 assets for L2 auction mechanisms, and the team is exploring this through Chainlink CCIP, with the goal of achieving low-cost, fast auctions with L1 security for users in the summer.
