Analysis: The lack of collateral function makes Ethereum ETF relatively less attractive

Bitget2024/07/23 00:15

London investment management company Farside Investors released a report stating, "We believe that the inflow of funds into Ethereum ETFs may be less than Bitcoin ETFs for the following reasons:

1. Bitcoin ETF was approved first, attracting more attention;

2. Before the approval of U.S. spot ETFs, the market size of Bitcoin's exchange-traded products (ETPs) was larger than Ethereum's;

3. The lack of staking function makes Ethereum ETF relatively less attractive;

4. Bitcoin has stronger relevance as a financial asset, while Ethereum focuses more on decentralized applications (dApps) and chain usage."
