2. Cryptocurrency Trends:

  • Arweave Founder: Arweave ecosystem Web3 storage solution Irys plans to fork the Arweave network and reset the token supply. Irys handles around 95% of Arweave transactions and has long been known as Arweave's scaling solution.

  • A U.S. federal judge approves the CFTC's settlement with Binance, which will see former CEO CZ pay $150 million, a third of which is to be paid within the next 30 days. Binance is required to pay a $1.35 billion fine to the CFTC and give up $1.35 billion in "illegally obtained transaction fees."
