Announcement to Change Toncoin (TONCOIN) to Toncoin (TON)

Bitget is committed to providing a clear and user-friendly trading experience. As part of our ongoing efforts, we will be making adjustments to the ticker symbol for the TONCOIN token listed on our platform.

The details are as follow:

Ticker Symbol Change: The ticker symbol for TONCOIN will change from TONCOIN to TON. Please note that the project name, Toncoin, will remain unchanged. The change will take place on 5 July 2024, 8:00 (UTC).

No Impact on Your Holdings: This change won't affect your existing TONCOIN assets. Your TONCOIN tokens remain safe and secure on Bitget. Deposit, withdrawal and trading will not be affected during token ticker change.

Please Note:

1. API users are required to make necessary adjustments. For more information, please refer to the full API documentation.

2. TONCOIN Spot Margin Lending has been closed and will be reopened after the name change. After the name is changed, the existing TONCOIN position of the iOS users who use the version before 2.31.0 (including) will not be able to be repaid manually, but can be repaid through the one-click repayment function.

3. The token ticker TONCOIN will be changed from TONCOIN to TON. API users are strongly advised to adjust the API strategy code and use the new code TON for trading after the change of token ticker.
